   Hee The Sam, that is rendered using the standard render engine, I used the gorilla’s lightkit pro to light the sphere, just a overhead softbox and 2 softboxes to the side, one with a orange colored light and the other a bit blue-ish, Ambient occlusion with a extra contrast of 10%. hope that answers your question.
