We have a really cool free model set created by Rick Ellis. It is 3 antique Coca-Cola glass bottles from various years. Pretty rad! Hope you guys find some good use for them. Feel free to use for commercial or personal use. Thanks, as always, Rick! You can check out his website here: rickdellis.com
Hey guys, I have a sweet rad Octane resource for you to check out. Aaron Covrett e-mailed me asking if I would like to spread the word. He created a Neon sign generator for Cinema 4D Octane. It’s pretty rad!
You can change size, textures, colors, animation settings etc. very quickly with an xpresso set up. It’s a gumroad thing, so you can snag it up or pay him what you want. Hope you find it useful!
My friend Daniel Mozbäuchel, who has provided us a lot of great freebies in the past, has created a really nice lights kit for Octane! A couple of my favorite features are the spotlight, which is not available in native Octane. Also included is a really handy infinite floor rig, which you can add to your scene in 1 click and have a floor that goes off into the distance with no seams.
Other items include Area/Shape, Sunlight and HDRI Sky objects, each with easy xpresso settings to solo/unsolo, add gobos/textures, easily move them with targets and the native Octane options. The other great thing about this kit is you can copy lights without having to use xpresso like some other products out there.
And finally it comes with a script so you can add these as buttons to your HUD and don’t have to constantly be digging in your .lib4d content browser. If you want some great Octane features like the spotlight, or you want a super quick infinite floor preset, check it out! It’s a pay what you want product, so help Daniel out if you can.
We have another collection of models by my friend Jim Field. He created a whole series of bed models.
Today’s pack has five bed and bunk bed models for interiors. These are great set dressings! I hope you enjoy them. Huge thanks to Jim for sharing!
A couple tips on using GI Clamp and Hot Pixel Removal to fix fireflies in your scene and speed up your renders. Hopefully this helps you out!
Super quick, but hopefully helpful. If you need to add an alpha texture, here are a couple things to keep in mind. Also, if you have that nasty white pixel fringe on your alpha channel, hopefully this technique will fix that. Cheers!
We have another little collection of models by my friend Jim Field. He created a whole series of bed models.
Today’s pack has three childrens themed bed models for interiors. These are great set dressings! There is a camper van bed, a horse and carriage themed bed and a castle themed bed.
I hope you enjoy them. Huge thanks to Jim for sharing!
PXL + DIRT Rig for C4D Octane is rocking and rolling! Here is a technique to use displacement and also use the rig to add grunge. Hope it helps you out!
I’m beyond stoked to share this Octane for C4D product. Quickly add complex dirt, grunge and worn looks to your materials. You can also add stickers and patterns. The best part is that it takes very complex mix materials, noises, shaders and layers and puts them all in a very easy to use interface which is fast and fun to play around with. I hope you find it useful! I teamed up with Cedric Henry, from PXLNTWRk to make this available to you.
Just a quick tip when dealing with your kernel settings in Octane. Definitely a beginner tip, but hopefully it will help some of you out if you’re new to the program!
