If you create a C4D render and want to replace/composite a screen in After Effects this tip might help you out. If the screen solid comes into AE completely jacked up, you need to go back into C4D and make sure it’s set up correctly.

NOTE: If you don’t want to make your screen editable, then go through the same process of setting up the axis directions properly before fitting the screen into place and you won’t have to make it editable. Just make sure it’s rotated in the proper direction before you set the width/height of the plane. It’s a lot easier if you’re aware of this issue before setting up the plane, so hopefully this will save you some time!
