Cinema 4D quick tip on getting more control of your shaders. Learn to use a feature in the reflectance channel called the layer mask to have part of your material be reflective and part of it be matte or non-reflective. Hope this helps you out!
As always, another great quick tip.
Thanks Joren
Always want to get the most out of the reflectance channel. This helps a lot! I tried to reproduce your material which I like, but I wasn’t able to. My displacement was harsh and abrupt whereas yours is smooth, almost jade like.
Thank you.
Most likely an issue of not enough subdivision, either on your object, or the amount of subdivision levels in your displacement?
