I’m very excited to be diving into the Redshift world! This is the first ever C4D Redshift Material Pack (that we know of)! Materials were created by my friend Mark from MSJPhotography.com. (Texture ball model courtesy of Paulo Barrelas of ultradigital.pt)
Great news! We just released the first Octane Lighting Essentials update. As promised we will be updating the product with free new studio scenes monthly.
This update includes a scene called “Perfect Portrait” which is just gorgeous. It’s a round studio and you can manage size, ratio, background color and the power and position of the HDRI light source. We also have 2 different lights that you can turn on and off. On the first one you can select the light’s color and on the second one you can select the light’s temperature.
If you already own Octane Lighting Essentials I just sent out an e-mail to you with an update link. If you didn’t receive that, maybe check your spam, or let me know. All new purchases will include the extra scene. Stay tuned for more additions next month!
I’m thrilled to introduce Octane Lighting Essentials for Cinema 4D! I have again teamed up with my friend Alessandro from Renderking. Jump start your lighting with 11 completely customizable lighting studios. Each one has a full xpresso rig so you can easily modify the lights and colors.
The exciting thing about this pack is that we are committing to monthly updates for at least one year. We will be adding new studio light setups monthly with free updates to customers! (We just added Scene 11 to the download in January). We would like to integrate any user feedback and requests for new scenes so you can be involved in where this product evolves. Here are the 11 scenes currently included:
I found a really great plugin and wanted to recommend it to you. It’s called MeshBoolean and it changes the way you work with boolean objects in C4D. It creates really quick booles with clean faces and has a lot of options including symmetry and beveling the cut edges. Make sure to check out the demo video. Highly recommended!
I’m excited to team up with my friend Alessandro from Renderking to offer the Octane Texture Pack Pro! It has 100 incredibly detailed and high resolution textures. This product has been over a year in the making with any ior, dispersions and sss values physically correct to the real world. This pack is a must have for pro level textures!

“For any serious Octane user, this is a no-brainer. Gorgeous materials at your disposal with just a click. The pack I was waiting for!”

Hide and Seek is our new project management plugin for Cinema 4D! Quickly find anything in your scene, isolate pieces you’re working on or create infinite selection groups. Save a ton of time by never digging through your object manager again! With Hide and Seek you can:
- Quickly find anything in your scene

- Greatly speed up your workflow on any project
- Isolate only the objects you’re working with
- Create object selection groups to come back to at any time
- Never dig through the object manager again!
My friend Daniel Mozbäuchel, who has provided us a lot of great freebies in the past, has created a really nice lights kit for Octane! A couple of my favorite features are the spotlight, which is not available in native Octane. Also included is a really handy infinite floor rig, which you can add to your scene in 1 click and have a floor that goes off into the distance with no seams.
Other items include Area/Shape, Sunlight and HDRI Sky objects, each with easy xpresso settings to solo/unsolo, add gobos/textures, easily move them with targets and the native Octane options. The other great thing about this kit is you can copy lights without having to use xpresso like some other products out there.
And finally it comes with a script so you can add these as buttons to your HUD and don’t have to constantly be digging in your .lib4d content browser. If you want some great Octane features like the spotlight, or you want a super quick infinite floor preset, check it out! It’s a pay what you want product, so help Daniel out if you can.
I’m beyond stoked to share this Octane for C4D product. Quickly add complex dirt, grunge and worn looks to your materials. You can also add stickers and patterns. The best part is that it takes very complex mix materials, noises, shaders and layers and puts them all in a very easy to use interface which is fast and fun to play around with. I hope you find it useful! I teamed up with Cedric Henry, from PXLNTWRk to make this available to you.
